Projek yang bising. Bising sangat.

29 May 2012
Hohoh. Bah, ni kali lah.

So kepada sesiapa yang nda tau tu, yes aku sekarang tengah berjinak-jinak dalam dunia screenprinting. Mula-mula ingat beli mesh ngan blok, taru design, ZAP ZAP siap suda baju, sekali bila suda start, satuuuu satu masalah timbul. Warna putih nda melekat la, base nda stable la, cat terlampau pekat la, glow in the dark ilang lepas cuci la, offset printing la, flooding la, curing, color separation, itu la ini la... Macam ambik digriii oh! Tapi beza dia tiada cigu seja. (Ada la cikgu, forum2 t-shirt dan youtube dan kakak assistant Khai Lien sama bros2 di Roundneck USJ selalu bagi nasihat sama aku. Makasih kamurang ah!)

So selepas banyak benda belajar. Aku tahu aku kena ada jugak 'station' ntuk aku buat printing2 ni. Selepas BANYAK baca benda di t-shirtforums.com aku pun rasa macam tau la mo buat station yang macamana. Ada 2 jenis sebenarnya, satu rotary press, tu more 'mainstream' la orang bilang. Tapi aku ni kan macam nda cukup bajet, jadi aku try la yang lebih 'budget friendly' sikit iaitu line table setup... kepada yang nda tahu apa benda aku cakap, ndapa. ni contoh gambar yang aku p google baru jak tadi.

Ni rotary press. Harga mahal, mau start pun banyak hal. Tapi flexible.
Yang ni ramai south-east asian guna. Style gini bulih buat banyak2 t-shirt skali.
kalau yang di atas tu cam satu-satu kena buat, so orang semenanjung bilang 'leceh' la. hehe.

So apapa pun, aku telah membuat keputusan untuk buat sendiri (jimat, beli kayu jak. sama penukul, sama paku, sama gergaji, sand paper, pahat, aduh poket aku..) Dengan keadaan aku yang ndak berkereta sendiri ni (kalau mak bace, please kasihani adik mak... please!! T_T) , aku terpaksa la angkut semua equipment aku tu naik motor fz (fz.. me gusta) aku yang biru2 tu.. Aku p kasi bangun adik aku, belanja dia makan, suru dia angkat kayu pastu yang mana muat tu kasi masuk seja dalam beg aku yang aku beli aritu. Beg tu besar, bole muat 1/2 badan aku. Kalau aku kecil mungkin aku pun muat. Mengkali lah. Heheh.

So! Ini dia aku punya schematics! Aku punya printer teda ink, ari sabtu pula kedai print tutup. Apa lagi, handmade jak la semua (sampai schematics pun aku SALIN jak dari intenet)

Siap ada color2 lagi tu. Punya la cantik. Berbunga2 hati aku bila buat ikut ni schematics. (Kalau nda paham tu schematics, ndapa, cuba tingu sini mungkin lagi senang mo paham. Start dari sana aku pun pegi la kedai kayu pacik ni, aku mintak dia kasi putung kayu tu (mo satu jam juga tunggu, masa tu la aku balik kasi kejut adik aku.. dera dia sikit.) Terus time aku pegi tu.. punya kick adik aku macam mo tejatuh ba dia naik di belakang bawak 6 keping 15" x 17" sama batang kayu 2x2 yang panjang dia dari 48 - 50" tu. Kesian dia. Ndapala, suda kena upah juga. Kira adil lah tu kan? Lepastu aku p kasi beli air lagi ntuk dia, aku happy kau happy, bagus. Di bawah ni gambar equipment sama kayu2 yang aku maksudkan.
Tiada dalam gambar: Plywood 6 keping saiz 15x17"
Ya. Itu meja makan. Get over it. Saya tiada garage. Memaku pun atas lantai jak.
(Jangan kasitau tuan rumah ah)

Bila suda siap tu, inila hasil dia sebelum aku biar dia tersadai (sejak hari Sabtu, sebelum aku p lawat CoolBlog kawan aku ari ahad lepas)

Oh, adik aku ada tulung menukul. Aku cam takut2 sebab telampau bising. Tapi dia cam enjoy pula aku tingu. Biarla. Pas tukul, baby nangis. Biarla. Suda lepas juga.

Okaaayyyy suda siap tu kan, suda aku p CoolBlog member aku semua, hari Isnin pun menjelang lah tiba... aku pun rasa cam bangas suda di ruma menunggu Isnin (kalau aku buat ni ari Ahad kena tendang pintu ruma aku jiran2 buat... ataupun diorang komplen jak la sama management) so aku pun angkat la penukul tu... sama paku2 yang ada, aku pun kasi lekatla 'platen' di atas bar kayu di atas tu...

Sebelum aku tunjuk gambar final, mo tanya kamu. Best ka baca blog post kali ni? Harap2 ilmu yang aku mau sampaikan ni termasuk la dalam minda dan pemikiran kamu semua ah... Ok masa rehat suda tamat, nah gambar final!

Selepas ketung ketang ketung ketang (diiringi dengan bunyi baby nangis dsbg) aku rasa amat berbangga sebab dapat siapkan benda ni properly. Kesian meja makan aku... abis penuh habuk kayu. Aku janji esok aku akan kemas ko baik2 ah. Lap kau sampai berkilat supaya kami bole makan atas kau lepas ni... Ndadala tu station aku mau taru sana permanent bah.. Nanti aku cari alternatif lain. Aku printing ala orang jepun tuang green tea ka? (sambil duduk macam duduk solat gitu.. ok kah? Haha)

Okeh! Tu jak la aku punya entry kali nih. Kalau mau, share la sama kawan2 k? Kalau ada soalan apapa tanya ja jangan malu2. Kalau kamu nda bagi, aku nda gigit. Hehehe. Mungkin next time aku akan post pula pengalaman aku bermain dengan heat gun (Malaysian panggil hot air gun) jenama BOSCH yang aku baru beli kemarin di IOI Mall (sebab tempat lain teddaaa!!! grr...). Salam!

Cheers,
Matsuo.

I invaded my friend's business. It was awesome.

28 May 2012

So yesterday I had the chance to go and 'visited' my friend's CoolBlog branch in Uniten Bangi. Haha. It was my first time opening up a shop and setting up business for the day. I drained the ice box, helped them clean up the pearls, et cetera et cetera. Let's leave that to the pros shall we. Here's a not-so-glamorous shot I got from my friend. It's a tiny little CoolBlog branch at the side of the road in Uniten. It was cool, calm, and awesome.

Afterwards, I helped them with the chores n stuff, hope I did everything right. Now I know how hard it is to open up and maintain a shop. Guys, you have my respecto!

Anyway, as soon as the shop were running, like any other normal friend, I decided to try and make their own product. (Psh, even if they wouldn't let me I'd do it anyways. heh) Khalis, my friend, suggested Mango + Soursop ice blended. Heh. Mango. Love mango. So here goes. Pictures!

Here's the pro adding mango and sour sop flavor in the mixing cup thing.
Added a bowl of ice into the blender...
set it on the blender and closing the lid
And turning on the switch. Hohohohohoh. It's almost ready now!
Pouring the ice blended into the cup. Angle was a bit weird, but who cares.
And FINALLY it's time to play with the automatic lid conveyor machine! Hohohoh.
Notice the laughing face. I got super excited for nothing.
Ta-dah!!! My very own self-made product. I paid for it too. So it's all good.
Sorry ah kales, ade muke ko termasuk. But it's ok, free promo. Heheh.

So that's the whole ordeal of my invasion today. I did accidentally dropped some ice on the floor after but let's just leave it at that. Haha.

Here's a couple more pictures of the shop and the owner/admin, Muklis. Enjoice!

Sometimes it's good to feel important. It keeps your spirit up!

24 May 2012
Hello everyone. Welcome to yet another block of text that nobody might ever read at all, but I'm still posting it because I think what I'm about to tell is quite awesome for myself.

Anyway, today I was planning to go buy some t-shirt stock. For those who doesn't know, I'm selling a few t-shirt design and if you guys would like to see please click here. So anyway, the plan is quite direct, I go to my old workplace (Les' Copaque Production Sdn. Bhd.) to grab a book I ordered from my friend, Idaman also known as Kak Ros, the scary elder sister of Upin & Ipin (who happens to be another bookworm like me. Heheh.) and I was supposed to directly go to USJ for the t-shirt thing, but it turns out there are a few other things I gotta do first before I head there.

So anyway, after the deal's done, I was about to continue to get myself some t-shirts from USJ. Just as I was about to get on my bike, I bumped into the Managing Director of the company which informed me that I'm supposed to have a recording session for one of the characters in their series 'Pada Zaman Dahulu'. So I went and called the audio team and asked about that. Coincidentally, the PR of Les' Copaque came on to me and told me to follow him for photoshoot! (ooooh, photoshoot) and gave me an Upin & Ipin t-shirt! Yay! We had a few shooting venues (and this all happened in less than an hour haha).

After the shooting, I went ahead to the audio room for recording session, finished it, went to USJ and bought some t-shirt stock (They didn't have enough of what I needed, but it's ok.) and head home directly from there.

Before reaching home, I decided to go to my favourite rojak stall on the roadside nearby my house for some lunch and they informed me that they can't do business there anymore. I was kinda sad when I heard it but they told me that starting this Sunday 27th May, they are opening up their own restaurant!! Yes! Finally they're going to have their own proper branch and I can bring my friends there for lunch sometimes. They also asked me to bring all my friends to their grand opening this Sunday as they are serving free food from 10 - 12! I felt like winning the whole day today. Thank you god! For those who live nearby Puncak Jalil or Seri Kembangan area, head on to the back of My Mydin this Sunday for free food!

Afterwards, I head home, had a quick nap, prayed and continued with my work. I was a happy kid today. Heheh. Well, that's all. Thanks for reading.

Cheersosasos!,
Matsuo

Who else have their dad sings on YouTube?

09 May 2012
So, my dad's the kind of person who would give a lot of opening and motivational speeches. He's been doing it (yes, still) ever since I can remember. And I loved listening to him rather than some other people who would just read their text in front of the whole crowd. Usually I would just go to sleep, and snore away!

Occasionally he would kinda break into a song, just to keep everyone entertained. And I think that it's a great way to keep everyone focused on whatever the heaven he is talking about. Way to go dad!

Hope you guys enjoyed that. Kudos to my friend Hafizi for stumbling upon the video. Don't know how he found it, but I'm glad he did. Hehe.

Cheers,
Matsuo
