[PS Tutorial] Defringe your art!

12 April 2012
I learnt this method from working at Les' Copaque Production Sdn. Bhd. As a concept artist, my daily life revolves around photoshop (I used it more than the time I turn on both my Pokemon games combined. #fact). So today I wanted to teach/spread the method of defringing outlines from our scanned/digitalized artwork. Don't know what's a fringe? View the picture above in full size to know more.

For today's tutorial, I've prepared a li'l somethin' for everyone so that everyone can follow exactly what I'm doing.

So I've decided that I'll remake my blog properly, but in the same time, my hands are quite tied with other stuff. So for now, let me present to you the Beta version of my blog!

Legos, Artbooks, Collections in general

04 April 2012
I have decided that I would start my personal blog again just for the fun of it. The previous Messed Up Matsuo! was created as an outlet for me to let all my thoughts and opinions flow properly and it ended up being a showcase of my collection of toys, artbooks and anything in general. After a few years of forgotten blog, it hit me, why didn't I just continue it? My brother loves it, my friends enjoyed it from time to time, so now I've decided to restart my hobby and do this once more. I do wish for this blog to keep up this time, so I'll work on it properly.

Aside from that, I also started a 'professional' blog mainly for people who are interested in my Zazzle merchandise business. Head on to Nano-Da! Blog for more juicy stuff and collectible! (At the moment I haven't had much time to prepare anything so we might be short of juicy stuff and collectibles, but if you're reading this months after this post was published, do check it out. You might see something you like.)

Before I go, here's a picture of a lego pirate SpongeBob. Just 'cause.
