Open up your eyes: Bali trip 2013

12 November 2013
Whoot whoot! I'm back from Bali! Sunburn and feet sores all over me but I'm all okay. I had a great time there (4D3N) and the whole trip meant very much to me and how I view the world. I stayed in Kuta Lagoon Resort & Pool Villas, maybe I can check up google images and see if any picture is available. :B

Technically Bali is a Hindu-populated Island. On the Island itself, there are 2 volcanoes (both active, but please don't imagine Lord Of The Ring-styled volcano). Took a whole day tour on the 8th of November (last friday) and I gotta tell you, it is tiring as heck!! But I had fun, so it's good. :B

Oh, the trip is also a 3rd anniversary trip for the company that I work with, Gigglegarage. Thanks so much to the swaggy bosses Ed and Zeno for the whole experience!

The thing that I like about the whole island is that it's attention to beautiful details. Every monuments they had, it was made of rocks and those rocks really looked sturdy. And they are practically everywhere, as far as you can see.

Look at this 'gateway' (above) for example. Guess what it is? It is actually the 'entrance' to the beach. To the beach!! And every entrance there'll be this kind of monument awaits to welcome you to the mystical and mysterious culture of Bali.

How about this particular hotel (below) with a more modern approach in terms of materials and style. You might think the photo could be quite boring, but looking at it right in front of the building itself gave me goosebumps. It really is an amazing and quite unique feature!

Isn't that just amazing?

Anyway, there's more to talk but I have so little time to tell it all. The conclusion is, even though I am practically still in Southeast Asia and the culture is not something I've never seen before, but coming here, it amped up my views towards the Hindu culture and how religion plays a very important role in one's everyday life. So syok!

Before I sign out, here's a photo of yours truly, along with Dede, our trustworthy travel guide. :Say hi to him for me if you met him in Bali yah! :D
